Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure high-quality food production.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, grills, and ovens.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food safety and hygiene.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience in grocery store or culinary settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
