Subway Sandwich Artist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a commitment to food safety standards.

Duties

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment.
• Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their orders and addressing any inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards throughout all food preparation processes.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor for effective customer interactions.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A passion for creating delicious food and providing outstanding service is essential.

Pay: $15.50 - $18.05 per hour
