Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and preparing sauces.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and taking orders accurately.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Buss tables and assist with cleaning duties as needed to maintain a tidy dining area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurants or grocery stores, is a plus.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for interacting with customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and customer service is highly valued.
