Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and dining areas
- Clear tables and clean dining area after customers have finished their meals
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling sandwiches
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe handling and storage of food products
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Skills:
- Culinary skills: Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and ability to follow recipes
- Cash register operation: Proficiency in using a cash register to process customer payments accurately
- Bussing: Ability to clear tables efficiently and maintain a clean dining area
- Math skills: Basic math skills for calculating totals, making change, and handling cash transactions
- Aloha POS: Experience using Aloha POS system for order processing and payment handling (preferred)
- Food safety knowledge: Understanding of proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices
- Cash handling: Ability to accurately handle cash transactions and provide correct change to customers
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to provide friendly and efficient service to customers
