Purpose: As a Branded Food Service Clerk at Subway, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied. You will prepare products to order, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and handle light paperwork duties.
Main Responsibilities:
Working Relationship: You will report directly to the Branded Foodservice Manager.
Physical Demands:
Purpose: As a Branded Food Service Clerk at Subway, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied. You will prepare products to order, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and handle light paperwork duties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a cheerful and helpful manner while preparing their orders.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of our menu items and explain them to guests accurately.
- Operate the Point of Sale system to record orders, compute bills, and collect payment from guests.
- Perform Cash-In Procedure, accounting for all forms of money and product during shifts.
- Prepare food neatly and according to formula in a timely manner.
- Restock items in storage units to ensure a sufficient supply throughout shifts.
- Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation, service, and clean up.
- Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
- Adhere to quality standards, formulas, and procedures outlined in the Subway operations manual.
- Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the Subway operations manual.
- Complete company training courses as directed.
Working Relationship: You will report directly to the Branded Foodservice Manager.
Physical Demands:
- Requires strength, standing 95% of the time, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Walking and pushing/pulling heavy objects are also required.
