We are looking for a Shift Manager for our team at Norfolk Naval Base. Exact location :
This position requires open availability to work any shift between the times (7am-8pm).
Must be available to work full time (minimum 30 hours per week.)
Must be available for beginning and end of respective shift.
Must be available to work any day for the respective shift Weekday / weekend or Day / Night
Must be easily reachable and available to cover shift on a day off in case of
emergency / call outs.
Must have reliable transportation.
Previous experience in food service like Chick-fil-a, Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's, and Panera is preferred, but not required. If you are a friendly and reliable person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, we want to talk to you!

PREREQUISITES
Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Must pass ServSafe Food Service Manager certification.
Experience : Prior Subway management experience preferred or a minimum of 1 year experience in QSR - style service as a person in charge, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Communication and organizational skills
Physical : Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system / cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 20 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
