Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer preferences and company recipes
- Ensure food safety standards are met during the preparation and handling of ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, grills, and fryers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in stocking ingredients and supplies
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register or POS system
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating change
- Experience with cash registers or POS systems for processing payments
- Ability to upsell menu items to increase sales
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of retail math principles for pricing and discounts
- Previous sales experience is a plus
- Familiarity with the food industry standards and regulations
- Understanding of food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS system is advantageous
