Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a knack for working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality food to our customers while maintaining cleanliness and organization. This is for a weekend opener. You will be responsible for ensuring enough bread is baked, and prep is complete for lunch.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer orders with attention to detail and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food preparation.
- Prep for the expected daily sales.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred. We will fully train the right person however.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques is a plus.
