Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all food handling practices meet health and safety regulations.
• Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process customer orders accurately.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, including upselling menu items when appropriate.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Perform bussing duties as necessary to maintain cleanliness in the dining area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a grocery store, café, or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling guidelines.
• Knowledge of retail math is a plus for managing inventory effectively.
• Ability to operate POS systems, specifically Aloha or similar platforms.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
