Key Responsibilities and Qualities:

• Provide exceptional customer service with a customer-first attitude, anticipating and meeting customer needs.
• Maintain professionalism and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
• Operate the Point of Sale System (POS) accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit cards securely.
• Craft beverages to meet quality standards using the Espresso machine.
• Prepare food according to recipes and procedures, ensuring quality and safety.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to state and local laws.
• Act with honesty and integrity, reflecting core values of SUCCESS Cafe.
• Maintain composure during busy periods to ensure operational standards and set a positive example for coworkers.
• Anticipate customer needs and communicate effectively with management to create a welcoming environment.
• Assist in training new employees and contribute to a positive work environment by recognizing and communicating changes in coworker behavior or performance.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately operate coffee and tea-brewing machines, adhere to recipes and meet brewed beverage quality standards.
• Properly prepares heat and serve food in the oven or displays ready to eat products in the display case according to recipes and procedures.
• Follow operational policies and procedures for cash handling, cyber security, and security measures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of Back of House (BOH) and Front of House (FOH) workspaces and areas.
• Adhere to safety, security, and sanitation guidelines.
• Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Uphold personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards.
• Communicate customer complaints to management and report work-related injuries.
• Read and acknowledge the Franchisee Employee Handbook, following all rules, policies, and procedures contained within it.

Qualifications:

• Previous café experience not required; we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds.
• Capable of performing physical tasks frequently, such as:reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a standing position for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
• Eligible to serve alcohol legally and obtain a server permit if mandated by local laws.
• Certification in a food handler safety program preferred; willingness to obtain certification from an approved program recognized by local regulatory authorities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
