Our Summer Intern Program is an eleven-week, paid opportunity for those who are eager to gain hands-on experience in event planning, project management, and K-12 education administration. As a Summer Training Operations Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning and execution of our summer training programs, where we:
This internship is a great opportunity for those interested in education, event planning, project management, and/or operations. You will work closely with our training team to ensure smooth execution, gain valuable skills in organizing large-scale events, and contribute to a mission-driven organization that impacts thousands of students across NYC.
This is a paid opportunity ($16/hour), and we are seeking candidates who are available full-time starting June 9th for a minimum 11-week commitment. The role will be based at our Network office in the Financial District, with additional responsibilities at various training venues across Manhattan, including the Javits Center.
Please note: This role will require some early morning hours and 2 Sundays to support event setup and ensure smooth day-of operations.

- Onboard and train new hundreds of teachers, acclimating them to their roles and our mission.
- Prepare returning teachers for the new school year with professional development sessions.
- Host a leadership conference for school principals and assistant principals to align on key priorities for the upcoming year.
- Support Event Planning & Logistics – Assist in coordinating venues, materials, schedules, vendors, and event setup to ensure a seamless training experience for all participants.
- Manage On-Site Operations – Help oversee check-in, volunteers, materials distribution, session transitions, and troubleshoot any on-the-ground challenges.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders – Communicate with teachers, leaders, and staff to ensure they have the necessary information and training resources.
- Analyze & Report Data – Support the collection of participant attendance, feedback, and other operational insights to measure program success and improve future training programs.
