Job Description:
The High School Teacher at Success Academy will be responsible for teaching a rigorous curriculum to a diverse group of students, with a focus on developing their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide targeted support to struggling students.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree before your first day of work with Success Academy
- A rigorous and relevant academic major (e.g., biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering)
- Ability to work in person in New York City ($2500 stipend for qualified relocations)
- Supervise a classroom of 20 students
