As an Elementary School Science Teacher, you will join a team of professionals committed to preparing children from low-income neighborhoods to be self-assured thinkers and leaders, capable of exploring and debating sophisticated ideas, and ready for college and beyond.
The Science program at Success Academy is designed to develop our scholars as citizens of science, empowering them to engage creatively, critically, and meaningfully with the world around them. We place a strong emphasis on scientific literacy, with special attention to reading, writing, and data literacy.
We provide our teachers with extensive training and a proven curriculum, allowing them to focus on working with their students instead of building lesson plans. Our teachers are encouraged to grow as leaders and ultimately lead the entire grade team, or enter our school leadership track as an assistant principal, or transition to our network office.
