With a strong curriculum and extensive training, you will engage students in a data-driven approach to science education, ensuring their success in all scientific disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a passion for scientific thinking and curiosity among scholars.
- Develop scholars as citizens of science, empowering them to engage creatively, critically, and meaningfully with the world around them.
- Teach a range of scientific disciplines, including engineering, physics, mathematics, chemistry, and biology.
- Emphasize scientific literacy, with special attention to reading, writing, and data literacy.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree before your first day of work with Success Academy.
- A rigorous and relevant academic major (i.e., biology, chemistry, physics, engineering).
- Ability to work in person in New York City ($2500 stipend for qualified relocations).
- Possession of planning and organizational skills, emotional intelligence, and a passion for content.
