We are seeking a passionate science teacher to join our team in New York City's top-performing network of K-12 charter schools. As a science teacher, you will ignite a passion in scholars for scientific thinking and curiosity.

Our Science program develops scholars as citizens of science, empowering them to engage creatively, critically, and meaningfully with the world around them. Scholars engage flexibly with different scientific disciplines, compelling them to see engineering, physics, mathematics, chemistry, and biology as all interdependent.

A background in education is not required. We provide extensive training and a proven curriculum, enabling you to focus on working with your students instead of building lesson plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree before your first day of work.
• A rigorous and relevant academic major (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics, engineering).
• Ability to work in person in New York City.
• Supervise a classroom of 20 students.

Compensation:

Starting salary: $65,000.00
