Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced teacher to join our team as a K-12 Classroom Professional in Queens Borough. As a teacher at Success Academy, you will have the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and make a meaningful impact on their lives. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a classroom of 20 scholars, providing timely feedback and support to help students improve, maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress, communicating regularly with students, parents, and guardians, and collaborating with other teachers, staff, and administration to support student success.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a passion for content and a strong instinct for building trusting relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds. You should also have experience juggling multiple responsibilities and be able to plan around competing priorities. A background in education is not required, but a bachelor's degree is necessary before your first day of work with Success Academy. Finally, you must be able to work in person in New York City and be willing to relocate if necessary.
