About the Role: Dance Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools
We are seeking a Dance Teacher who can help us deliver a world-class dance education to our scholars at Success Academy Charter Schools. As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for building a classroom culture in which scholars develop a love of dance, and collaborating with dance teachers across the network to build a world-class dance program.
You will engage students with a repertoire that centers scholar learning on creating, connecting, performing and responding to artistic works within dance, and execute movement to demonstrate dance technique and choreography.
- Bachelor's degree prior to start date;
- Oustanding academic results;
- Professional training in a rigorous dance program or extensive professional performance credits;
- Passion for dance and learning;
- Ability to work with children and implement effective dance instruction;
- Leadership experience and ability to inspire others;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities;
- Experience working with groups of children and embodying the character traits we value in our ETHOS - Excellence, Teamwork, Humor, Ownership, and making sure our Scholars are top of mind.
