SUCCESS ACADEMY IS LOOKING FOR A SCIENCE TEACHER TO JOIN OUR DYNAMIC TEAM!
We are a network of charter schools in New York City dedicated to providing a rigorous education to students from low-income neighborhoods. As a Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in our mission to inspire students to develop critical and analytical thinking through a comprehensive science program.
Our approach to teaching science is flexible, allowing our scholars to see the connections between different scientific disciplines. We also place a strong emphasis on scientific literacy, including reading, writing, and data literacy, to ensure our scholars are well-equipped to engage creatively, critically, and meaningfully with the world around them.
As a teacher at Success Academy, you will have the opportunity to grow as a leader and transition into school leadership or network office roles. We prioritize career advancement and skill development, offering targeted feedback and coaching to improve your performance and helping you to become a highly skilled problem solver.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your communication skills, build strong relationships with students, families, and peers, and learn to assess and analyze data to chart student growth and achievement.
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree before your first day of work with Success Academy
A rigorous and relevant academic major (i.e., biology, chemistry, physics, engineering)
Ability to work in person in New York City ($2500 stipend for qualified relocations)
Supervise a classroom of 20 students

We offer a competitive starting salary of $65,000.00 and a full benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
