**About the Role**
We are seeking a talented High School Teacher to join our team at Success Academy. As a teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging and challenging lesson plans, teaching students in grades 9-12, and assessing student progress. You will also have opportunities for professional development and leadership advancement within our network.
**Responsibilities:**
- Create engaging and challenging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
- Teach students in grades 9-12
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching practices
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree before your first day of work with Success Academy
- A rigorous and relevant academic major (e.g., biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering)
- Ability to work in person in New York City (relocation stipend available for qualified candidates)
- Passion for content and a willingness to continuously learn and grow
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build trusting relationships with students and colleagues
