Job Title : VIDEO TELECONFERENCE TECHNICIAN
Job Purpose :
The Video Teleconference Technician operates video teleconferencing equipment, assists users in sessions, monitors equipment performance, and reports issues. Responsibilities include operating audiovisual equipment and training personnel.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Interface with external agencies to resolve technical issues.
- Provide support for HQ AETC-controlled Video Teleconference (VTC) assets.
- Run slides, provide VTC dial-in support, and maintain oversight of VTC equipment.
- Be available in the event of an equipment emergency.
- Notify supervisors of major equipment repairs.
- Diagnose and resolve media system problems.
- Direct and coordinate activities during production.
- Compress, digitize, duplicate, and store audio and video data.
- Install, adjust, and operate electronic equipment for multimedia presentations.
- Knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure and related support tools.
- Familiarity with video teleconference (VTC) projection systems and software.
- Minimum of "Intermediate" proficiency level certification IAW DoDM 8140.03.
- High School diploma or greater.
- Two (2) to five (5) years in a relevant work position.
- Experience with mobile device support.
