Position Title: Full-Cycle Accountant
Reports To: Accounting Manager
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Salary: $80,000
This is a hybrid position. Office hours required on Wednesday and Thursday

Overview:
Success for All Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced accountant. Under general supervision, this role provides services and expertise in general accounting and support in grant accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting, particularly in the non-profit sector. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Reconcile daily banking balances and monthly statements
· Complete state annual reports, registrations, and other tax and business filings
· Record payroll, cash receipts, and other journal entries
· Assist in audits: Prepare documentation and support external auditors during annual audits.
· Assist in month-end close procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
· Assist in other projects necessary in general accounting
· Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and Foundation goals
· Adhere to all policies and protocols as outlined in Employee Policies and Procedures Manual and other departmental and Foundation-wide communications
· Act in a professional and collegial manner in all situations with clients and colleagues
· Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting with five to seven years of related experience required
· Familiarity with Certinia’s Financial Management is a plus
· Ability to use Microsoft Excel in the creation and use of spreadsheets including sorting and filtering data, using basic formulas, and creating graphs
· Ability to use Microsoft Outlook for sending and receiving email, maintaining a work calendar, and scheduling appointments.

· General knowledge of accounting practices and systems
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to use independent judgment
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
· Ability to analyze and solve problems
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
Hybrid position. Work is normally performed at Success for All’s Towson Office on Wednesday and Thursday’s. Additional office days may be scheduled as needed.
Physical Effort:
No or very limited physical effort required.
Environmental Conditions:
Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment or working with chemicals.
