Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and implement individual and group daily learning experiences through a weekly lesson plan.
- Efficient in potty training students ages 18-30 months.
- Efficient in working with students ages 18-30 regarding developmental milestones.
- Oversee the management and supervision of children in order to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment.
- Ensure implementation of the academy's approved curriculum plan.
- Form relationships with parents to foster effective learning environments for the child.
- Ensure compliance with Arkansas Minimum Licensing requirements and other federal and state regulations.
- Ensure progress in all areas of child development and early learning as outlined in the Early Learning Framework.
- Maintain records and reporting systems and ensure accurate and timely information is entered into academy's data tracking systems.
- Plan and prepare special events or activities.
- Complete a minimum of 15 professional development clock hours per year.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of the center.

Qualifications
- Direct experience working in a childcare facility with students ages 18-30 months
- Ability to work alone as a lead teacher with up to 8 students
- Maintain current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Diploma or GED
- Pass state Criminal Background Check, Central Registry Check, and/or FBI Background Check if applicable.
- Reliable and predictable attendance and ability to work a set schedule up to 40 hours per week
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.50 per hour
