Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Clerk at our hospital, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team with various administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the pharmacy department.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and restock supplies
- Process medication orders and prescriptions accurately
- Organize and file patient records and prescription orders
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure seamless workflow
Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred
- Familiarity with IV infusion procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is advantageous but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.16 - $22.00 per hour
