Successful Child ABA Therapy, LLC is a small business in Jacksonville, NC, supporting young children who are neurodiverse, through the use of a naturalistic environment to implement Applied Behavior Analysis therapy services. We are expanding our service locations to include the addition of an enrichment center (4 hour) structured setting. In this setting, children will have the support needed to increase their academic, social and communication needs in a classroom environment. We are professional, agile, professional. ```Duties```
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for children in the toddler and preschool age range.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care.
- Create and maintain a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Plan and lead educational activities that promote child development, including literacy education.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-based learning.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
```Experience```
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices.
- Experience working with children with special needs or diverse backgrounds is a plus.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create an organized and structured learning environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Skills:
- Curriculum development: Ability to design and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets educational standards.
- Toddler care: Experience working with children in the toddler age range (1 to 3 years old).
- Preschool: Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices for children aged 3 to 5 years old.
- Childcare: Understanding of best practices in childcare settings, including health, safety, and nutrition guidelines.
- Special education: Familiarity with strategies for supporting children with special needs or disabilities in an inclusive classroom setting.
- Child welfare: Knowledge of child protection laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Classroom management: Ability to create a structured and positive learning environment, manage behavior, and engage students.
- Educate: Passion for teaching and inspiring young children to learn and grow.
- Literacy education: Understanding of early literacy development and strategies for promoting reading and writing skills.
- Experience with children: Demonstrated experience working with children in a professional setting.
