Position Overview:
Area Managers at Suds Deluxe lead, coach, and develop General Managers across their assigned locations to maintain and exceed our high standards of quality, service, and operational excellence. This leadership role involves overseeing the operational performance of multiple car wash locations, mentoring General Managers, and collaborating with Executive Management to drive growth and efficiency.
As an Area Manager, You Will:
- Uphold and enforce Suds Deluxe standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance through regular training and coaching of General Managers.
- Oversee the productivity and performance of multiple car wash locations in your area.
- Strategize and forecast operational direction with the Executive Management.
- Lead, develop, and coach location managers to achieve company goals.
- Implement Suds Deluxe’s mission, vision, and values effectively to management teams.
- Evaluate General Manager performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct consistent site visits to maintain high standards at all locations.
- Provide operational and leadership training to General Managers.
- Ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks at each location.
- Analyze budgets, P&L statements, and sales data to drive profitability and cost management.
- Set location-specific goals in collaboration with management staff.
- Enforce safety procedures, including chemical handling and equipment safety protocols.
- Conduct location audits to ensure all operational and quality standards are met.
What We Are Looking For In You:
- 4 years of leadership and management experience.
- 2 year of multi-site management experience preferred.
- Proven leadership and coaching abilities with a history of team development.
- Strong planning, organization, and delegation skills.
- Effective communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of car wash equipment maintenance and preventative care.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while supporting a team environment.
- Minimum availability of 45 hours per week, with varied hours and days.
- Accessible by phone during non-working hours for urgent matters.
