All of our therapists must hold a valid license in the state of New York and are required to complete a foundational DBT training within six months of hire, which we will contribute towards. Must be a diligent self-starter with the desire and willingness to be a life-long learner. Must also embrace teamwork and thrive in a collaborative environment. Clinical staff must be motivated to treat an at risk population some struggling with suicidal ideation and self-harming behavior. If you have no DBT experience that is not a deal breaker. It will be necessary for you to have or learn the concepts of behaviorism. You have to be willing to throw yourself into a great learning opportunity, apply the principles and conceptualize cases. Any individual with Evidenced-based background is welcome to apply!
