What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier position at SUGAR BOWL RESORT?
Sugar Bowl is looking for a qualified and friendly cashier to assist server staff in customer service situations by maintaining the preparedness and cleanliness of food service areas. Operate cash register to receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, or vouchers.
Who you are
- 0-1 year food and beverage experience preferred
What you will do
- Assisting other staff in expediting of food/beverage when requested
- Assisting in special/catered events
- Polishing, vacuuming, and general cleaning of food service areas
- Handling of hot food service items RE: bread trays
- Clearing dirty dishes from tables
- Resetting and maintenance of food service areas
- Expediting of dirty linens/bags to gondola area for servicing
- Proper clearing/organization of dirty dishes in dish station drop off area
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
- Greet customers entering establishments and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners
- Keep lines moving throughout the day
- Perform open and close duties
