What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gondola Operator position at SUGAR BOWL SKI RESORT?
Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for Gondola Operator to escort guests and their personal belongings to and from the garage loading dock. Operation of gondola to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, belongings and freight. Strong focus is placed on guest interaction and quality service as we strive to surpass all our guest’s needs and expectations. While maintaining a professional image, you will be required to identify, show sensitivity and respond to our guests needs safely and promptly to ensure complete satisfaction to all our guests.

- Energetic, friendly and outgoing with strong customer service skills

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 30 pounds
- Must be able to pass certification course (training provided)
What you will do
- Greeting all guests and employees promptly and enthusiastically
- Efficient gondola operation
- Helping guests load and unload
- Loading and unloading guests’ ski and snowboard gear
- Maintenance of all areas of gondola building and gondola cabins
- Assisting homeowners and hotel guests with luggage and personal items
- Shipping and receiving
- Crowd control
- Familiarity with Sugar Bowl and ability to answer guest questions
- Snow removal and shoveling before, during and after storms
