What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Porter/Bellhop position at SUGAR BOWL SKI RESORT?
Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for a Hotel Bellhop responsible for escorting guests and their personal belongings to and from the gondola and other guest related areas. Strong focus is placed on guest interaction and quality of service as we strive to surpass all our guests’ needs and expectations. While maintaining a professional image you will be required to identify, show sensitivity and respond to our guests needs safely and promptly to ensure complete satisfaction to all our guests.

Who you are
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous Hospitality experience/training advantageous
- Must be able to work as part of a dynamic quality driven team
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Additional languages advantageous
- Must have exceptional guest interaction skills
- Must have an excellent customer service experience
- Must display high levels of energy
- Must be able to do shift work, mornings or nights, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to multitask and work under pressure
- Must be detail orientated
- Must be presentable and professional
- Must be able to push, stoop, stand, bend and lift items weighing 50 pounds repetitively during the entire shift
- Must be able to work under extreme weather conditions
What you will do
- Escorting guests and their personal belongings
- Relaying of resort information
- Room service
- Busing
- Answering the telephone
- Cleaning of hotel common areas
- Some front desk and housekeeping duties
- Replenishing of firewood
- Linen inventory counts
- Basic maintenance
- Assisting guests with any other needs
- Snow shoveling hotel front entrances or guests entrances as needed
