Sugar Bowl is looking for a Nob Hill Cafe Supervisor who must be willing and able to provide exceptional customer service in all situations, 100% of the time, to not only the Village Homeowners and general public, but also to all Team members. They must also possess problem solving & troubleshooting skills, the ability to act accordingly in stressful situation, and must embrace all Sugar Bowl policies & procedures at all times. The Nob Hill Cafe Supervisor is instrumental in the minute-by-minute, daily management of the Front of House F&B Team Members.

Who you are
- Minimum of 1 year previous Management experience in Food & Beverage & Hospitality industries
- Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at once, while providing positive and exceptional leadership
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have Responsible Beverage Service of Alcohol certification, or be willing to obtain
- Must have California Food Handler’s certification
What you will do
- Assisting with the opening and daily operations of Nob Hill Cafe
- Assisting in training, developing and supervising FOH Team Members
- Possessing high integrity in cash handling & reconciliation of banks and closing paperwork
- Having clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
- Having extensive knowledge of all menu items, and the willingness to assist in the kitchen if needs arise
- Assists in delegating responsibilities to all FOH Team Members
- Assist the GM with monthly inventories of all products
- Maintain a great relationship with all team members
- Assist in stocking and maintaining inventory levels in all guest areas
- Maintaining consistent high level Service Standards and promoting them to the Team
- Excellent safety, sanitation & cleanliness practices
- Assist with weekly meaningful safety meetings with all team members and documented properly
- Exercising excellent listening skills to external and internal guests
- Assist in creating a courteous, friendly, and professional, team focused work environment
- Maintaining consistent opening & closing duties per checklists
- Sense of Pride & Ownership for position, department and resort
