What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal Supervisor position at SUGAR BOWL SKI RESORT?
Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for a Snow Removal Supervisor to oversee the snow removal and maintenance of roads and parking lots. Maintain training and a high standard of safety and service. This is a skilled position of the highest level. Work closely with numerous operating departments, including but not limited to, Parking. Provide timely service on storm days. Operate snow removal equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

What you will do
- Be familiar with Sugar Bowl policies and procedures
- Provide equipment training to all operators
- Prevent damage to equipment, and facilities due to snow removal operations (If damage does occur, alcohol and drug testing procedures must be conducted, and disciplinary actions taken)
- Weekends and holidays will be required work days, especially if it is snowing
- Receive input from experienced operators, when necessary, regarding snow removal practices
- Work directly with equipment operators to make sure roads and parking lot snow removal is done in a timely manner
- Provide for safety of all employees and property
- During operating hours, maintain close contact with Director of Fleet and Roads, Dispatch, and Parking Supervisor to ensure proper communication
- During operating hours, maintain regular contact with VP Operations and Mountain Operations Senior Manager
- Advise Director of Fleet and Roads and Dispatch of Old 40 road closures/openings
- Ensure Old 40 Open/Close checklist is completed and turned in to Operations for each opening and closure
- Keep and maintain Old 40 sanding logs and equipment logs
- Ensure all equipment check out sheets are completed each shift
