OVERVIEW
A Welder Construction Specialist is a skilled professional responsible for joining metal parts using a variety of welding techniques. They play a crucial role in the construction industry, working on structures such as buildings, bridges, and pipelines. This position requires a deep understanding of welding processes, safety protocols, and construction standards.
Welding and Fabrication Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-cored arc welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the welding requirements.
- Read survey plans and transport elevations with the transit theodolite.
- Prepare and align metal parts before welding to ensure precise and accurate welds.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications and project requirements.
- Organize and direct employees during the construction process.
