Overview

Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from conception to completion, including corporate meetings, weddings, banquets, and other special occasions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget constraints.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts for catering, audiovisual services, decorations, and entertainment.
- Oversee event logistics such as venue selection, layout design, catering arrangements, and guest services.
- Monitor event budgets to ensure financial targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management related to event planning.
- Knowledge of market trends in the event industry to create innovative experiences.
- Proficient in contract negotiation with vendors and service providers.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
