Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classroom management and experience working with students in a school setting. The Teacher will play a crucial role in supporting childhood development, including early intervention techniques and education practices. This position is Monday-Friday, hours will be discussed in the interview.
Responsibilities
- Implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices.
- Provide individualized support for students with special education needs or those requiring early intervention.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and the school community to promote student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with Licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with students in a classroom setting, ideally within a school environment.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies.
- Experience in education or toddler care is highly desirable.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and assessment methods.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and the community.
