Camp Counselor

Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and create memorable experiences in a fun and supportive camp environment.

Duties:
- Supervise and ensure the safety of students at all times.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts.
- Foster a positive and inclusive camp community.
- Assist with camper check-in, check-out, and transitions between activities.
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
- Implement behavior management strategies when necessary
- Collaborate with other staff members to create engaging and educational programs
- Maintain a clean and organized camp environment

Experience:
- Experience working with children in a structured setting (e.g., childcare, tutoring, babysitting)
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Experience in special education or working with students with diverse needs is a plus
- Background in sports coaching, theater, or other recreational activities is beneficial
- Ability to effectively manage a group of children and maintain classroom discipline

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check

Pay: $1,209.00 - $1,400.00 per month

Salary : $1,209 - $1,400
