Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for, packing out for events, ensuring efficient materials handling, and maintaining inventory control. This role is crucial for optimizing logistics and ensuring that events run smoothly within catering department.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Packing/unpacking for events
• Cleanliness of equipment storeroom
• Writing pack lists
• Purchasing and warehouse inventory (Compostables/event products)
• Mandatory Attendance @ production meetings Tuesdays at 9:30am
• Maintenance of van
• Picking up rental vans with FOH lead
• Overall building and equipment maintenance
• Laundry coordination
• Event runs if FOH items are forgotten
• Oversee materials handling processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Manage inventory control, including tracking stock levels and conducting regular audits.
• Implement best practices in warehouse management to enhance productivity.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
• Address any issues or discrepancies in inventory or shipping processes promptly.

Experience

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar position is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of materials handling, inventory control, and logistics operations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and work independently as well as with a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
