Description
As the Systems & Process Administrator for our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Wholesale (B2B) businesses, you will drive the integration, administration, and growth of our business-critical systems . This role is pivotal in streamlining operations and enhancing system performance across both channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, implement scalable solutions, and support overall business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Systems Maintenance and Automation: Manage the integration of Shopify DTC & B2B with Lightspeed POS/IMS, Shipstation, Faire, Amazon, Quickbooks, Avalara Tax and other apps as needed to streamline operations and reporting across all channels. Identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
- Shopify App Integration: Evaluate, recommend, and implement Shopify apps and plugins to enhance site functionality, streamline operations, and improve the customer shopping experience for both DTC and B2B customers. Stay informed about new Shopify features and updates to leverage the platform's full potential.
- Website Design and User Experience (UX): Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the design, functionality and layout of both the DTC and B2B websites for maximum usability and engagement. Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across all devices and screen sizes.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues for the company’s systems Work closely with developers and third-party vendors to resolve any issues or bugs in a timely manner.
- Project & Partner Management: Build and maintain relationships with third-party app providers, developers, and platform partners to ensure optimal performance and service levels. Manage system-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new feature implementations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Process Optimization and Documentation: Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system use, website updates, and process workflows.Continuously review and refine internal processes to enhance productivity and scalability.
- Training and Support: Train internal teams on new systems, apps, and process improvements to ensure smooth adoption and usage.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure website security by managing user access, monitoring vulnerabilities, and implementing best practices for data protection and compliance (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).
- Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to website performance, conversion rates, and revenue growth for both DTC and B2B channels. Generate regular reports and analytics dashboards to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with Shopify ecommerce platform, including setup, customization, and optimization for both DTC and B2B channels.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques, and user experience (UX) design principles.
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom theme development and customization.
- Experience with Shopify apps and third party integrations to enhance site functionality and performance on both DTC and B2B websites.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and experience in analyzing data to inform decision-making for both channels.
- Familiarity with systems integration involving POS (e.g., Lightspeed), shipping solutions (e.g., ShipStation), marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Faire), accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks), and tax compliance platforms (e.g., Avalara).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
