Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Day School Caregiver to join our team at the resort. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and a proven track record of delivering engaging programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement daily activities that cater to the diverse needs of the children.
- Collaborate with the Room Leader to plan and execute engaging programs.
- Ensure the children receive nutritious meals according to a predetermined schedule.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to strict cleaning protocols and emergency procedures.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their well-being and compliance with established guidelines.
- Provide opportunities for rest and relaxation while implementing positive discipline strategies.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and children alike.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a CDA or associate's degree in early childhood education, supplemented by two years of experience, or a BA/BS degree with four higher education courses in early childhood topics and two years of experience, or three years of successful experience in a licensed facility with four higher education courses completed.
- Three professional references from previous childcare roles.
- Current CPR Certification and Biannual First Aid Certification.
- Ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge related to child development stages.
- A genuine interest in staying updated on current childcare trends.
