Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Day School Caregiver to join our team at the resort. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and a proven track record of delivering engaging programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement daily activities that cater to the diverse needs of the children.
• Collaborate with the Room Leader to plan and execute engaging programs.
• Ensure the children receive nutritious meals according to a predetermined schedule.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to strict cleaning protocols and emergency procedures.
• Supervise children at all times, ensuring their well-being and compliance with established guidelines.
• Provide opportunities for rest and relaxation while implementing positive discipline strategies.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and children alike.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a CDA or associate's degree in early childhood education, supplemented by two years of experience, or a BA/BS degree with four higher education courses in early childhood topics and two years of experience, or three years of successful experience in a licensed facility with four higher education courses completed.
• Three professional references from previous childcare roles.
• Current CPR Certification and Biannual First Aid Certification.
• Ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge related to child development stages.
• A genuine interest in staying updated on current childcare trends.
