Accountant

We are a woman owned and operated boutique accounting firm passionate about helping small business owners understand their finances, so they can make sound financial decisions and meet their goals. We are responsive, qualified, a little uptight (we are accountants after all), and a little fun (we do think accounting is fun). We are a growing company and are looking for an accountant to help serve our clients.

Position Description:

This position will work with the team at Sugarcreek Consulting, solving problems and providing financial information timely and efficiently. We work together as a team to deliver great service and improve the accounting process for our clients. It is a work from home position (20 hours per week) for someone who has the ability and desire to grow with us. This role provides more workplace flexibility than a traditional accounting firm but does require this individual to check their email daily. Our team members have independence and flexibility in their workdays, although work is completed primarily during business hours to best serve clients. This position is fully remote but we are looking for someone in the Columbus or Dayton Ohio area for training and in person meetings a couple times a year.

Experience, Skills and qualifications:

· Accounting experience (required, minimum 2 years)

· QuickBooks Online experience (required, minimum 2 years)

· Strong skills in excel

· Experience with accrual accounting a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
