POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a friendly and knowledgeable budtender to join our team at Sugarleaf. As a leading retail cannabis-hemp shop, we strive to provide exceptional customer service and a comfortable environment for our customers to explore and purchase high-quality cannabis-hemp products. As a budtender, you will play a crucial role in educating customers about our products and helping them find the right solutions for their needs.

As a CSR3, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of employees, providing exceptional customer service, and maximizing sales opportunities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Educate customers on different strains, products, accessories, and consumption methods.
• Abide by all state and local regulations governing the sale of cannabis/hemp products.
• Accurately handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Assist customers in selecting the right cannabis products based on their preferences and desired effects.
• Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and always fully stocked.
• Continuously expand your knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends to better assist customers.
• Manage and lead a team of retail associates during assigned shifts (CSR3).
• Monitor and maintain the accuracy of inventory through regular stock checks (CSR3).
• Train team members on store policies, procedures, and product knowledge (CSR3).
• Create and implement strategies to increase sales and meet or exceed targets (CSR3).
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash-handling and reconciling sales (CSR3).

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this position successfully, the individual must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Prior experience in a retail or customer service role a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of different cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous leadership role in a retail environment (CSR3).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team (CSR3).
• Ability to perform opening and closing procedures (CSR3).

WAGES & BENEFITS

This is a full-time or part-time position that offers paid time-off, employee discounts, tips, and bonuses. Medical and dental insurance is not currently offered. The pay rate is $15-20 per hour with overtime eligibility.
