Overview :
Sugarloaf is looking for an experienced cook to fill a full-time, year-round position at our signature 45 North Restaurant location as our Breakfast Cook. The role of a Breakfast Cook is to prepare food, to guide kitchen workers in the preparation of food items, and to set up allocated stations for menu as instructed by our Resort Chef. Our 45 North Breakfast Cook will primarily work mornings in the restaurant and will assist with events, conferences, and lunch service at our Base Lodge as needed.
This full-time, year-round role is eligible for benefits and seasonal bonus pay as well as many other great job perks.

Responsibilities :
- Prepare food according to food handling guidelines and cooking procedures.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe or use record to prepare and prep food items.
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
- Communicate and coordinate production with other cooks, wait staff and members of the food and beverage team.
- Possess knowledge and become familiar with all kitchen equipment.
- Observe and test foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing with thermometer to determine proper preparation and cooking.
- Perform closing procedures including equipment maintenance and shut off, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
- Work with the team to complete other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications :
Candidates must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Prior kitchen work experience is required for this role, preferably in a breakfast role.
