Sugarloaf Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Sugarloaf Mountain Resort. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the service and repair of our fleet of company-owned vehicles, including GM light trucks and vans, SnowCats and groomers, light and medium duty buses, plow equipment, sanders, and various other equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of a fleet of vehicles and equipment under the garage's scope of responsibility
- Maintenance of lift systems, snow machines, mowers, small engines, and snowmaking equipment
- Maintenance of ATVs, welders, chainsaws, pumps, and other small engine type equipment
- Working weekend and holiday shifts as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in equipment and vehicle maintenance/repair
- Shop experience or a tech school degree in a related field
- Prior work experience in welding and fabrication is desired
