Transportation Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to our clients, ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the journey. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while interacting with passengers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate van o transport passengers to their destinations.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing regular inspections and basic maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules, routes, and any potential delays.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns during transit.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a punctual schedule.
• Assist with heavy lifting as needed for luggage or equipment when transporting clients.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in shuttle driving, bus driving, or paratransit services is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during passenger assistance.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role is a plus.
• Must be able to maintain professionalism and composure in various situations.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
