- Compensation package starting pay $18.00 / hour (based upon experience)
- 1st Shift Monday - Friday; 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, some overtime may be required

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
SUHNER USA, Inc. is seeking to fill the single role of Quality Assurance Technician. The technician is responsible for inspecting raw materials, testing and inspecting production parts, and assisting with internal quality Audits.
TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
Initial
Review raw material certificates, conduct inspection and testing and log / assign ot number to incoming production materials.Test and inspect flexible shafts using micrometers, calipers, and laboratory equipment.Record, file and / or enter QC data into computer.Prepare reject tags, reject reports, maintain reject logs and files, ensured rejected material is properly contained and dispositioned.Prepare customer Certificate of Conformance and provide raw material certificates when required.Participate ini root cause analysis and determining corrective action for internal and customer issues including the preparation of 8D reports.Work with machine operators and supervisors to find solutions to process problems.Conduct internal Quality audits.Expert
Assist with the preparation of procedures, work instructions and forms related to Quality AssuranceParticipate in continuous improvement activities.Assist wht the analysis of data and preparation of reports relating to product qualityParticipate in PPAP measurements, tests and documentationSupport the management of the Q-Pulse software as an additional QMS management tooOther duties as assigned.EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
Ability to read and understand work instructions, engineering drawings, and other documents related to the job.Able to write legiblyAble to perform basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) with and without the use of a calculator.Able to measure product accurately using micrometers, calipers, scales, rulers, and measuring tapes.Understand and convert both English and Metric dimensions.Basic knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.1 year(s) experience in a manufacturing shipping and receiving environment.High school diploma, GED, or equivalentWORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Climate-controlled environmentExposed to moving mechanical parts.Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, crouch, and walk.Able to comfortably lift up to 30 lbs. from floor to waist level.Ability to push / pull carts and / or pallet jacksAble to move around in open and confined spaces.Able to stand for at least four (4) hours without resting
