Associate Attorney – General Litigation Practice

Suisman Shapiro, the largest law firm in eastern Connecticut, has been serving the legal needs of individuals and businesses throughout the region for more than 75 years. Suisman Shapiro is currently seeking a qualified associate attorney who is likewise committed to join our

experienced team to focus on a general litigation practice.

Associate Attorney Qualifications

  • Current Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Be a member in good standing of the Connecticut Bar
  • Eligible for immediate admission to practice before the U.S. District Court

The candidate must demonstrate

  • A commitment to professionalism and serving clients
  • The candidate will have 0-3 years of experience as an attorney, with litigation experience being a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary
  • The successful candidate will be organized, self-motivated and have the desire to learn and grow their practice within a team environment
