Typical Hours:  Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Pay Range: $18 /hour ($37,440 /year) Bonuses

Reports To:  Suite Child Leadership

RETAIL STORE MANAGER

As the Store Manager, you'll be the lead on creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Ultimately, your primary role will be to lead a team who promotes our company’s products and services through excellent customer service.

 

To be successful on our team, you’ll need to demonstrate Suite Child’s core values, stay up to date and train team members on product knowledge, manage and prioritize daily receiving and merchandising projects, and maintain your store’s visual appearance in high standards, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.

  • Execute all weekly and monthly directives in partnership with store leadership
  • Implement strategies expected to result in driving top line sales
  • Create brand consistency and improve the overall customer experience
  • Assess sell-through and replenish the sales floor
  • Manage the inventory receiving process, stock counting, and markdowns
  • Motivate your team to achieve Suite Child’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis


DAILY ACTIVITIES

The Store Manager will create a work environment where your team grows, develops, and loves coming to work every day! You will ensure your team is assisting customers throughout the buying process and across a range of product categories, including clothing and accessories, gear (car seats, strollers, etc.), nursery furniture and bedding, toys, and baby essentials. You’ll answer team member and customer questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. You should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely members of your team to ensure that team members and customers have a positive experience with Suite Child.

 

You are the lead engineer of positivity and are energized by relationships with team members and customers. Your leadership creates a joyful and warm customer experience and ultimately drives the store’s financial success. As a Store Manager, you will work closely with the Leadership Team to maximize the success of your storefront.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Candidates with management experience in retail and/or customer service are ideal, but you can expect to receive training on the ways of Suite Child. Suite Child will continually provide an in-depth understanding of our products, services, company policies and operational procedures.

FULL-TIME SCHEDULE

  • This is a full-time position with a flexible 5-day work week (40 hours per week)
  • Our full-time team typically works 9am-5:15pm shifts
  • 2-3 Saturdays per month; Closed Sundays
  • During peak sale periods and events, we may need you to work additional or longer shifts

 

FULL-TIME SALARY

  • Store Managers will start at $18 /hour ($37,440 /year)
  • Overtime work occasionally may be required and will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay for any hours exceeding 40 hours in one work week.
  • Sales Team competition bonuses offered throughout the year
  • Annual bonuses are paid based on Suite Child’s revenue growth
