What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Suite Life Pet Resort & Spa?
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS RECEPTION EXPERIENCE.
Suite Life Pet Resort is looking for an EXPERIENCED front desk receptionist to work our AM and PM shift - Monday to Friday from 7am - 1pm or 1pm - 7pm and also work reception on rotating Saturdays from 8am - 2pm. On-call shifts are on a rotating basis and will begin after proper training.
This part-time position will work 24-30 hours per week. Pay rate is $12.50 per hour, with a review after 90 days of continuous employment. Eligible for tips after 30 days.
Applicants MUST be able to work either our AM shift: 7AM - 1PM or PM shift: 1 PM - 7PM, Monday - Friday and rotating Saturdays from 8 AM - 2 PM.
We have very busy phones and lobby and we are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, reliable, and will show up for work when scheduled. Providing excellent customer service is a very big deal at Suite Life!
Additional required skills are being very detail-oriented, calm, and organized. Must be able to answer the phone and deal with customers at the same time. Must also have reliable transportation to work.
The ideal applicant will have very good computer skills (PetExec experience a plus) and be able to learn Suite Life's booking and payment software. Applicants must be very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and temperaments and must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Selling skills are desired, as well - upselling dog toys and pet items to our clients at check-out.
In this job, there is also a lot of bending, twisting, kneeling, and pulling. Dogs like to bark so must be comfortable with a sometimes very noisy environment. Applicants must have either a High School diploma or a GED.
