As our Lead Kennel Tech - Animal Care Specialist, your day is a blend of leadership and hands-on care, ensuring the well-being of our cherished guests. From training new team members, setting the bar for our high standards, to executing essential kennel tech duties like feeding, administering medications, orchestrating playtime, bathing, and maintaining a pristine environment, you play a crucial role in delivering a seamless and joyful experience for pets and their owners. Your customer interaction skills build trust and provide updates to pet owners, while collaborative teamwork with other departments ensures a positive overall customer experience. OUR IDEAL LEAD KENNEL TECH - ANIMAL CARE SPECIALIST

This position is full-time with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Our ideal candidate should demonstrate open availability, readiness to work any shift, and a commitment to extended hours when needed, ensuring the consistent care of our pets.

Requirements:

• 2 years of management experience leading a team of 5 or more staff

• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand on concrete for up to 9 hours a day
n
• Reliable transportation
n
• Great multitasking skills and the ability to independently solve problems

Pet care experience is a plus, but not required. Your passion for animals and dedication to exceptional care are what matter most to us!
