Compensation: Hourly rate starts at 42.00/hr and up based upon experience.
Schedule: Some combination of Monday - Friday, day shift, 3 days per week. (.6-FTE @ 24-hours)

Job Summary:
Suite Living Senior is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a on-site nurse in our Assisted Living communities. The ideal candidate will have an active RN license, a minimum of 1 year of experience in an assisted living setting, and current knowledge of best practices for elderly residents, particularly those with Dementia. The candidate should also possess expertise in medication management and narcotics administration within an assisted living and memory care environment.
Responsibilities:
Primary On-Site Nurse:
- Serve as the primary nurse overseeing the care of all residents within the Assisted Living community.
Comprehensive Assessments:
- Conduct initial, face-to-face comprehensive assessments of prospective and new clients.
- Develop proposed service plans based on individual needs and health conditions.
Ongoing Monitoring and Reassessment:
- Monitor and reassess clients' needs and care plans regularly.
- Implement necessary adjustments to ensure the highest quality of care.
Medication Management:
- Ensure that residents' medication records are up to date.
- Oversee proper medication administration procedures.
- Investigate any medication errors or issues with staff and implement corrective action plans as needed.
Coordination of Services:
- Facilitate the coordination of additional services for clients, such as hospice and occupational therapy.
Caregiver Oversight:
- Monitor caregivers' performance to ensure adherence to procedures and meeting clients' needs.
- Provide guidance and support to caregivers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an assisted living setting.
- Current knowledge of best practices for the elderly, especially those with Dementia.
- Current knowledge of best practices for medication and narcotics in assisted living and memory care.
