Caregiver Role
We are seeking professional and compassionate caregivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be patient, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform various tasks to support clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with prescribed medication
- Support ambulation and mobility around the facility
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
- Help with physical therapy exercises
- Plan and prepare meals with dietary manager assistance
- Perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Offer pleasant and supportive companionship
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations
Requirements:
- Pass medications (training provided)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months experience as a caregiver (CNA/HHA/PCA/RA/NAR) required
- CNA Certification preferred but not required
- Experience in Assisted Living/Memory Care setting highly preferred
- Med Passing experience highly preferred
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) required
- Respectful, compassionate, and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills essential
Please note that all shifts, including part-time and full-time positions, require working every other weekend. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for this direct care position. A strict no cell phone use on duty policy applies.
